Meet Kevin O'Neill
After spending my career in the professional education field with a global consulting company, I am glad to have the opportunity to use my leadership, business, and education experience to enhance our public library.
I am a 12-year resident of Aurora, with a bachelor’s degree in business finance and an MBA. I am a frequent user of the Eola library and participate in library events at other branches.
My civic responsibilities and positions have included:
- Aurora Public Library District Trustee (2023-present)
- Mayor of Aurora’s Sustainability Advisory Board (2022-2023)
- St. Charles Singers Treasurer and Board of Director (2017-2023)
- Kane County Election Judge (2014-2022)
- Carillon Homeowner’s Association Landscaping Committee Chair (2014-2017)
